Zack van der Merwe
Technical Director
Zack is a Technical Director at 4S4 with over 12 years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Data Warehousing. He specializes in enterprise solution architecture, managing teams of over 30 consultants for large clients in mining, retail, and manufacturing. His expertise spans financial planning, human capital management, and project management using Scrum and Agile methodologies. With a strong technical skill set that includes BW, BPC, and Alteryx, Zack is dedicated to solving complex problems. Outside of work, he values family, continuous learning, and a healthy lifestyle, making him a valuable asset to the organization.
Darren Pieterse
Commercial & Operations Director
Darren is Head of Operations at 4S4, where he has improved operational processes to enhance business efficiency and the sales-to-delivery lifecycle. Initially starting in Sports Management, he shifted to project management and gained extensive experience managing large Oracle projects in countries like Kenya, Vietnam, Qatar, and Uganda, also founding an Oracle practice. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Post-Graduate Diploma, along with various certifications in Leadership and Project Management, highlighting his commitment to ongoing professional development.
